M2 Trinity College completes comeback, beats M2 Western Connecticut State Univer, 7-6

M2 Trinity College climbed out of a three-goal hole to beat M2 Western Connecticut State Univer, 7-6.

M2 Trinity College let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a three hole to pick up the win. M2 Trinity College took a 1-0 advantage on a power play goal by Matthew Lucas at 16:05 in the first period. M2 Trinity College went down 6-3 after M2 Western Connecticut State Univer's Josh Weger put the puck home at 3:53 in the third period. After tying things up at 6-6 on a goal by James Cescon at 14:49 in the third, M2 Trinity College got the game-winner from Robert Ugolik at 16:24 in the third period.

M2 Trinity College got the win with help from a great game by Cescon, who had two goals and one assist. Cescon scored the first of his two goals at 4:11 into the third period to make the score 6-4 M2 Western Connecticut State Univer. Devin Shorey assisted on the tally. Cescon's next tally made the score 6-6 with 5:11 left in the third period. Shorey picked up the assist.

M2 Trinity College forced M2 Western Connecticut State Univer's netminders to work between the pipes, firing 50 shots and forcing 43 saves. Jackson Naramore made 17 stops and Chris Walker made 26.
