Hannon's big game bests M1 Stony Brook University in 7-3 M1 Liberty University win

Luke Hannon had two goals and two assists to lead the M1 Liberty University Flames to a 7-3 victory over the M1 Stony Brook University Seawolves.

Hannon scored at 11:27 into the second period to make the score 4-3 M1 Liberty University and again while on the power play 2:02 into the third to make the score 6-3 M1 Liberty University.

M1 Liberty University's penalty kill excelled, as the Flames gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

M1 Liberty University stifled M1 Stony Brook University's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Flames were forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as they racked up 18 penalty minutes. M1 Liberty University put 49 shots on net during the contest, more than the 29.8 it averages per game.

M1 Liberty University additionally got points from Cam Bakker, who also registered one goal and one assist and Ryley Egan, who also finished with two goals and one assist. M1 Liberty University also had goals scored by Tyson Street and Paul Lamoureux, who each put in one. In addition, M1 Liberty University received assists from Colt Steele, Kyle Garcia, and Bram Erickson, who contributed one each and Ben Hughes and Lindsay LeBlanc, who each chipped in two.
