No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Rebecca Geerts at 9:06 of the second period. With three goals and one assist between them, Makaila Anderson and Geerts teamed up to power Robert Morris University (IL)'s offense. Anderson grabbed two goals and one assist and Geerts also added one goal. Robert Morris University (IL) additionally got points from Lucia Plyer, who also had one goal and one assist. Adrian College forced the Eagles goalie Anna Salvaggio to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots. The Bulldog's defense let in more goals than it usually has this year.
