Catharine Burrell racked up one point to lead the Liberty University Flames to a 2-0 victory over the Grand Valley State University Lakers.

Liberty University's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Grand Valley State University power plays. The Flames could not produce up to their normal offensive output. Liberty University averages 5.2 goals per game.

Jenny Macarthur also scored for Liberty University. In addition, Liberty University received assists from Sarah Stevenson and Autumn Kucharczyk, who contributed one each.
