Autumn Kucharczyk racked up one point to lead the Liberty University Flames to a 2-1 victory over the Penn State University Nitty Lions.

Liberty University was held below its usual level of production. The Flames average 5.4 goals per game. Penn State University was unable to stop Liberty University from sending pucks towards the net, and the Flames eventually piled up 40 shots on goal.

Liberty University also got points from Carrie Jickling, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, Liberty University received assists from Madison Fischer and Courtney Gilmour, who each chipped in one.

The Nitty Lions could not produce up to their normal offensive output. Penn State University puts an average of 4.1 pucks into the net per game.

The Nitty Lions were led by Darby Kern, who scored the team's only goal. Kern scored 12:58 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Penn State University. Geneva Wagoner assisted on the tally.

Samantha Rupp rejected 21 shots on goal for Liberty University. The Flames incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Penn State University's Mary Kate Tonetti stopped 38 shots out of the 40 that he faced. The Nitty Lions incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
