Rhode Island University of beats Ohio State University 5-3 after comeback scare

The Rhode Island University of Rams survived a determined comeback attempt by the Ohio State University Buckeyes on the way to a 5-3 win.

A goal by Bethany Saunders put Rhode Island University of up 5-2 in the third period, but Ohio State University pulled to within two on Emilie Dunlap's tally 18:21 into the third period.

The Buckeyes were unable to stop the Rams from sending pucks towards the net, and Rhode Island University of eventually piled up 38 shots on goal.

The Rams were led by Kristy Kennedy, who had three goals. Rhode Island University of additionally got points from Saunders, who also racked up one goal and one assist.
