Ashton Schaffer registered one point to lead the Penn State University Nitty Lions to a 3-0 victory over the Ohio State University Buckeyes.

The Buckeyes' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Penn State University power plays.

Mary Kate Tonetti recorded 18 saves for the Nitty Lions. Ohio State University's Ciborek stopped 52 shots out of the 55 that he faced. The Buckeyes incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors and had no power play opportunities.
