Keegan Calder gave the Kitchener Dutchmen a 4-3 (OT) victory over the Caledonia Corvairs when he scored 1:51 into the extra period. Caledonia's power play was ineffective against Kitchener's penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded. The Dutchmen were sparked by Calder, who registered one goal and one assist. Kitchener kept the Corvairs' goalie busy throughout the game, and Kevin Entmaa made 31 saves on 35 shots. The Dutchmen were held back by their power play unit, which tallied one goal on 13 chances.
