Keegan Calder gave the Kitchener Dutchmen a 4-3 (OT) victory over the Caledonia Corvairs when he scored 1:51 into the extra period.

Caledonia's power play was ineffective against Kitchener's penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.

The Dutchmen were sparked by Calder, who registered one goal and one assist.

Kitchener kept the Corvairs' goalie busy throughout the game, and Kevin Entmaa made 31 saves on 35 shots. The Dutchmen were held back by their power play unit, which tallied one goal on 13 chances.

Kitchener additionally got points from Connor Cole, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Adam Kawalec, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Caledonia gives up 1.9 goal per game. The Corvairs were forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as they racked up 50 penalty minutes.

Caledonia was led by Austin McEneny, who grabbed one goal and one assist. McEneny scored 16:06 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Kitchener. Jordan Peacock picked up the assist. Caledonia also had goals scored by Connor Bramwell and Cosimo Fontana, who each put in one. In addition, Caledonia received assists from Connor Patton, who had one.

The Dutchmen's McIntosh stopped 37 shots out of the 40 that he faced. Kitchener incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
