Waterloo downs London, 6-1

Christian Mroczkowski had two points to lead the Waterloo Siskins to a 6-1 victory over the London Nationals.

Waterloo forced Nationals' goalies to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, launching 40 shots and forcing 34 saves. Justin Tugwell made 25 stops and Logan Ferrington made nine.

Waterloo also got points from Luke Gazzola, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Connor Bodnar, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Danny Hanlon also scored for Waterloo. In addition, Waterloo received assists from Matt Martin, Brent West (APM), Eric Cimino, Evan Kearns, Gary Mantz, and Chase Campbell, who each chipped in one.

London was led by Matt Bean, who scored the team's only goal. Bean scored 4:19 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Waterloo. Brent House provided the assist.

Evgeny Kiselev made 18 saves for the Siskins on 19 shots. Waterloo incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Nationals totaled 15 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 0-for-2 on the power play. London ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Anthony Kotsovos was ejected from the game.
