Waterloo blows out Listowel, 4-1

The Waterloo Siskins had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 4-1 win over the Listowel Cyclones.

Waterloo was led by Connor Bodnar, who grabbed one goal. Bodnar scored 19:33 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Waterloo. Nick Hirst assisted on the tally.

The Siskins stifled Listowel's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Waterloo additionally got points from Christian Mroczkowski, who also had one goal and one assist and Danny Hanlon, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Chase Campbell also scored for Waterloo. More assists for Waterloo came via Kyle Betts, who had two and Eric Cimino and Matt Romund, who contributed one each.

The Cyclones were led by Jamie Huber, who scored the team's only goal. Huber scored 19:26 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Waterloo. Chad Lemire picked up the assist.

Evgeny Kiselev made 21 saves for Waterloo on 22 shots. The Siskins incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Tyler Fassl recorded 20 saves for Listowel. The Cyclones incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
