The Caledonia Corvairs were firing on all cylinders against the Thorold Blackhawks, and when the final buzzer sounded Corvairs emerged with a 9-1 win. Caledonia's penalty kill excelled, as the Corvairs gave up one goal despite allowing 10 power plays. Caledonia was led by Ryan Moran, who registered one goal and one assist. Moran scored 5:37 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Caledonia. Austin McEneny provided the assist. The Corvairs' penalty box was a popular destination as the team totaled 11 minors and one major for 57 minutes in penalty time. Caledonia had been averaging 26.0 minutes in penalties per game.
