The Caledonia Corvairs scored three goals in the second period to pull away from the Thorold Blackhawks and clinch a 7-0 win.

Erick Delaurentis had one goal and two assists to lead Caledonia. Delaurentis scored 7:59 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Caledonia. Matthew Hore picked up the assist.

The Corvairs forced Blackhawks' goaltenders to work all game long, taking 44 shots and forcing 37 saves. Josh Astorino made 15 stops and Ian Shorthouse made 22. Caledonia's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Thorold power plays. The Corvairs found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. Caledonia averages 4.9 goals per game.

Caledonia also got points from Jordan Peacock, who also grabbed one goal and two assists, Jake Brown, who also tallied two goals and one assist, Tyler Lepore, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Hore, who also registered one goal and four assists to lead the team in points, and Austin McEneny, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Caledonia were Kyle Tanev, Nathan Gomes, and Todd Ratchford, who contributed one each.

Thorold was held below its usual level of production. The Blackhawks average 2.5 goals per game.

The Corvairs' Kevin Entmaa stopped 20 shots out of the 20 that he faced. Caledonia incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. For the Corvairs, Jayme Forslund was ejected from the game. Thorold incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
