The Strathroy Rockets had trouble finding ways to stop the Chatham Maroons, which beat Rockets, 5-2.

Chatham was led by Brennan Feasey, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Feasey scored 5:33 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Chatham. Levi Tetrault assisted on the tally.

The Maroons' offense rang up 48 shots on Strathroy's net.

Chatham also got points from Alexander Morgan, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Chatham included Trevor Richardson, Jared Dennis, and Michael Levesque, who scored one goal each. In addition, Chatham received assists from Ian Faubert, who had two and Connor Annett, Nate Pietens, and Steven Szekesy, who each chipped in one.

The Rockets kept Chatham's goalie busy throughout the game, and Jake Patterson made 48 saves on 50 shots.

Strathroy was helped by Stuart King, who registered one goal. King scored on the power play 6:33 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Chatham. The Rockets had gotten the advantage when the Maroons' Feasey was sent off for hooking. Brett Dalton picked up the assist. Joey Seney also scored for Strathroy. More assists for Strathroy came via Eddie Schulz, who had one and Kurtis Sander, who had two.

Chatham incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. For the Maroons, Levesque was ejected from the game. Mat Ouellet rejected 43 shots on goal for Strathroy. The Rockets incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
