Chatham takes care of St. Marys early, wins 10-3

The St. Marys Lincolns fell behind early, and the Chatham Maroons kept piling on the points on the way to a 10-3 victory.

Chatham got the win with help from a great game by Michael Levesque, who had two goals and one assist. Levesque scored the first of his two goals at 19:21 into the first period to make the score 4-0 Chatham. Mark Fratarcangelli picked up the assist. Levesque's next tally made the score 8-3 Chatham with 7:43 left in the third period. Fratarcangelli assisted on the tally.

The Maroons' offense rang up 50 shots on St. Marys' net. Chatham outdid its season average for goals scored. This season, the Maroons average 5.0 goals per contest.

Chatham also got points from Trevor Richardson, who also registered two goals and one assist, Levi Tetrault, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Fratarcangelli, who also finished with one goal and three assists to lead the team in points, and Brennan Feasey, who also had one goal and one assist. Chatham also got a goal from Alexander Morgan as well. In addition, Chatham received assists from Connor Doran, who had two, Carl Stapleton, who had three, and Connor Annett, Steven Szekesy, Luc Knight, Bo Bessette, Steven Beenackers, and Ian Faubert, who contributed one each.

The Lincolns were led by Brent House, who racked up one goal and two assists. House scored 1:19 into the third period to make the score 7-3 Chatham. Sean O`Brien picked up the assist. St. Marys additionally got points from O`Brien, who also registered one goal and one assist. Nick Whitworth also scored for St. Marys. Other players who recorded assists for St. Marys were Frasier Lewis, Jared Lindsay, and Graham Brulotte, who each chipped in one.

Chatham's Bessette stopped 19 shots out of the 22 that he faced. The Maroons incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Tyler Beattie made 40 saves for St. Marys on 50 shots. The Lincolns incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
