The Brampton Bombers tried their best to erase a two-goal deficit, but the Kitchener Dutchmen would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-3. A goal by Wyatt Trainer put Kitchener up 4-2 in the third period, but Brampton pulled to within one on Carmine Vietri's tally 19:43 into the third period. The Dutchmen were sparked by Trainer, who had one goal. Trainer scored 17:32 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Kitchener. Jordan Delaurier picked up the assist. Kitchener kept the Bombers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Jake Lawr made 32 saves on 36 shots. Kitchener additionally got points from Alex Demrovsky, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Kitchener included Philip Moser and Keegan Calder, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Kitchener were Mitchell Smith, Austin Gaboury, Nic Hague, Connor Cole, and Adam Kawalec, who each chipped in one. Brampton was helped by Jordan Crocker, who registered one goal. Crocker scored 1:37 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Brampton. Austin Kozluk provided the assist. Brampton also got points from Cameron Cruickshank, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, Brampton received assists from Anton Bura, Lucas Goodman, Sam Hisey, and Mitchell Byrne, who contributed one each. The Dutchmen took out Jackson McIntosh after he had made 10 saves and installed Harrison Pharoah in goal, where he finished with 14 saves and the win. Kitchener incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. The Bombers incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
