The St. Catharines Falcons' Tyler Jackson had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing four assists in his team's 14-2 win over the Pelham Panthers. Jackson found the back of the net 7:09 into the first period to make the score 2-0 St. Catharines and again while 16:49 into the third to make the score 14-2 St. Catharines.Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 1:07 into the second period. Four fighting penalties were dished out along with two game misconducts. St. Catharines forced Panthers' goalies to work between the pipes, totaling 63 shots and forcing 49 saves. Tynan Lauziere made 26 stops and Daniel Kocsis made 23. The Falcons outdid their season average for goals scored. St. Catharines has scored at the pace of 4.4 goals per game during the current campaign. The Falcons' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in three goals. St. Catharines also got points from Jacob Parisotto, who also registered one goal and one assist, Tyler Morrison, who also had one goal and three assists, Ryan Doucette, who also registered one goal and two assists, Brandon Cercone, who also racked up two goals and one assist, Cam Blakely, who also tallied two goals and two assists, and Manny Manns, who also had three goals and two assists. St. Catharines also had goals scored by Connor Timmins and Paolo De Sousa, who each put in one. In addition, St. Catharines received assists from Brock Ackerman, who had three, Josh Miller, Justin Felker, Owen Peacock, Brett Brooker, and Tyler Hildebrant, who each chipped in one, and Broderick Kelly and Nicholas Dozzi, who contributed two each. St. Catharines' defense shut down Pelham's forwards for much of the game, and the Panthers got off only 12 shots during the contest. Pelham was helped by Riley O Connell, who registered one goal. O Connell scored 16:52 into the first period to make the score 4-2 St. Catharines. Brady Cranwell provided the assist. Dane Koabel also scored for Pelham. More assists for Pelham came via Connor Schmalz and Cody LeVasseur, who each chipped in one. Jonathan D Ilario recorded 10 saves for the Falcons. St. Catharines totaled nine minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major and went 2-for-2 on the power play. For the Falcons, Jake Evans was ejected from the game. The Panthers totaled 11 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major and went 1-for-2 on the power play. Pelham ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and LeVasseur was ejected from the game.
