LaSalle blows out St. Marys, 6-1

The LaSalle Vipers were firing on all cylinders against the St. Marys Lincolns, and when the final buzzer sounded Vipers emerged with a 6-1 win.

LaSalle was led by Graham Pickard, who registered one goal and one assist. Pickard scored 16:18 into the first period to make the score 2-0 LaSalle. Dalton Langlois provided the assist.

The Vipers' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four St. Marys power plays. LaSalle forced St. Marys goalie Tyler Beattie to work between the pipes, taking 49 shots.

LaSalle also got points from Brett Primeau, who also tallied one goal and one assist. LaSalle also had goals scored by Korey Morgan, Daniel Beaudoin, Brendan Harrogate, and Connor Rosaasen, who scored one goal each. More assists for LaSalle came via Nikko Sablone, Eric Kirby, Mark Manchurek, Tyler Russell, and Manny Silverio, who contributed one each.

The Lincolns managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. St. Marys ended up below its season average of 17.0 penalty minutes per game.

The Lincolns were led by Evan Krassey, who scored the team's only goal. Krassey scored 13:06 into the second period to make the score 3-1 LaSalle. Jack Wieringa picked up the assist.

Paolo Battisti made 19 saves for the Vipers on 20 shots. LaSalle incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Beattie rejected 43 shots on goal for St. Marys.
