The Pelham Panthers was within striking distance after one period, but the Thorold Blackhawks put the pedal down in the second en route to a 9-2 victory. Thorold's offense was sparked by Anthony Postiglione, as he ended with four assists in a victory against Pelham. Riley Quesnelle also scored for Pelham. More assists for Pelham came via Shawn Rooke, who had one. Ian Shorthouse made 26 saves for Thorold on 28 shots. The Blackhawks incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Tynan Lauziere recorded 25 saves for Pelham. The Panthers incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
