In a game where neither team could get a cushion, the Niagara Falls Canucks escaped with a 4-2 victory over the Pelham Panthers. Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Sean Farquharson secured the win for Niagara Falls with a goal in the second period. The Canucks were led by Farquharson, who racked up one goal and one assist. Farquharson scored on the power play 18:50 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Niagara Falls. Niagara Falls had taken the advantage when Pelham's Ciaran Morgan got sent off for head contact. Nigel Slade provided the assist.
