In a game where neither team could get a cushion, the Niagara Falls Canucks escaped with a 4-2 victory over the Pelham Panthers.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Sean Farquharson secured the win for Niagara Falls with a goal in the second period.

The Canucks were led by Farquharson, who racked up one goal and one assist. Farquharson scored on the power play 18:50 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Niagara Falls. Niagara Falls had taken the advantage when Pelham's Ciaran Morgan got sent off for head contact. Nigel Slade provided the assist.

The Canucks managed to stay out of the box better than usual, finishing with one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Niagara Falls ended up below its season average of 26.0 penalty minutes per game. The Canucks forced the Panthers goalie Tynan Lauziere to work between the pipes, taking 49 shots.

Pelham was led by Riley O Connell, who registered one goal and one assist. O Connell scored on the power play 14:26 into the second period to make the score 2-2. The Panthers had gained a power play chance when Slade was whistled for holding. Morgan picked up the assist. Anthony Sorrentino also scored for Pelham. More assists for Pelham came via Brady Cranwell and Riley Quesnelle, who each chipped in one.

Joseph Murdaca rejected 21 shots on goal for Niagara Falls. The Canucks registered two goals on four power play opportunities. Lauziere recorded 45 saves for Pelham. The Panthers incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors.
