London holds on for 4-3 win against LaSalle

The LaSalle Vipers tried to dig themselves out of a three-goal hole, but the London Nationals held on for a 4-3 victory.

A goal by Kyle L Robinson put London up 4-1 in the second period, but LaSalle pulled to within one on Tyler Russell's tally 19:32 into the third period.

Derek Todosichuk had a great game for the Nationals, netting two goals. Todosichuk scored at 7:18 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and again while 11:38 into the first to make the score 2-1 London.

London kept the Vipers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Eli Billing made 32 saves on 36 shots.

London also got a goal from Tanner Ferreira as well. In addition, London received assists from Justin Murray and Rai Di Loreto, who each chipped in one and Derek Di Iorio, Ethan Cocurullo, and Drew Worrad, who contributed two each.

LaSalle forced the Nationals goalie Connor Hughes to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots.

More assists for LaSalle came via Brett Langlois and Dylan Naumovski, who each chipped in one and Nikko Sablone and Nathan Veres, who contributed two each.

Hughes rejected 28 shots on goal for London. The Nationals incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Vipers incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. For LaSalle, Daniel Beaudoin was ejected from the game.
