The Lambton Shores Predators tried their best to erase a three-goal deficit, but the Leamington Flyers would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 6-5. Leamington took a 5-2 lead during the second period, only to have Lambton Shores storm back on a Ethan Sarfati goal 12:02 into the third period to pull to one goal down. The Flyers were led by Kyle Quick, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Quick scored on the power play 13:02 into the third period to make the score 6-4 Leamington. Leamington had gotten the advantage when the Predators' Calvin Hughson was sent off for unsportsmanlike conduct. Mitchell Amante assisted on the tally. The Flyers' offense rang up 47 shots on Lambton Shores' net. Leamington gave up more goals than its normal season average. The Flyers average 2.5 goals allowed per game. Leamington additionally got points from Amante, who also registered one goal and two assists to lead the team in points, Alex Friesen, who also had one goal and one assist, and Travis Campbell, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Leamington included Eric Henderson and Kyle Perkowski, who scored one goal each.
