The St. Catharines Falcons survived a determined comeback attempt by the Niagara Falls Canucks on the way to a 3-2 win. St. Catharines took a 3-1 lead during the second period, only to have Niagara Falls storm back on a Mac Hollowell goal 9:02 into the third period to pull to one goal down. The Falcons were led by Devon Rymarchuk, who finished with one goal. Rymarchuk scored 2:13 into the second period to make the score 3-1 St. Catharines. Nicholas Dozzi provided the assist. St. Catharines also had goals scored by Tyler Morrison and Owen Peacock, who each put in one. In addition, St. Catharines received assists from Brady Cranwell, Jacob Parisotto, Tyler Jackson, Ryan Doucette, and Nicholas Prestia, who contributed one each. The Canucks stifled St. Catharines' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Falcons were unable to stop Niagara Falls from sending pucks towards the net, and the Canucks eventually piled up 40 shots on goal. Niagara Falls also got a goal from Kevin Millejours as well. Other players who recorded assists for Niagara Falls were Frank Pucci, Nigel Slade, Austin Wright, and Trevor Simonick, who each chipped in one. Ben Csiernik recorded 38 saves for St. Catharines. The Falcons incurred 32 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Dylan Pietrangelo rejected 27 shots on goal for Niagara Falls. The Canucks incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
