The Stratford Cullitons jumped out to a four-point advantage by the end of the first period and beat the Brampton Bombers, 8-2.

Mitch Brooks was all over the ice for Stratford, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Brooks scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 12:30 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Stratford. The Cullitons earned a power play opportunity when Noah Robinson was put in the box for slashing. Trevor Sauder provided the assist. Brooks' next tally on the power play made the score 3-0 Stratford with 35 seconds left in the first period. Hayden Broomhead picked up the assist.
