Seraphim leads Elmira over Brampton, 6-3

The Elmira Sugar Kings' Cash Seraphim had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 6-3 win over the Brampton Bombers.

Seraphim scored on the power play at 16:05 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Elmira and again while 19:25 into the third to make the score 5-3 Elmira.

Elmira excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. The Sugar Kings' offense rang up 34 shots on Brampton's net. Elmira got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

Elmira also got points from Alex Mutton, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Elmira also had goals scored by Brodie Whitehead, Adam Brubacher, and Jamie Huber, who scored one goal each. In addition, Elmira received assists from Ethan Skinner, Mitch Klie, Klayton Hoelscher, and Mitch Wright, who contributed one each and Sam Harris and Eric Palazzolo, who each chipped in two.

The Bombers were helped by Brad Bollert, who registered one goal and one assist. Bollert scored 6:17 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Brampton. Mitchell Byrne provided the assist. Brampton additionally got points from Carmine Vietri, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Brampton also got a goal from Kevin Bray as well. More assists for Brampton came via Anton Bura, Cameron Cruickshank, and Christian Sgroi, who contributed one each.

Andrew Lefebvre made 22 saves for the Sugar Kings on 25 shots. Elmira incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Shane Dietl rejected 28 shots on goal for Brampton. The Bombers incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
