Welland Arena    Sun, Nov 23, 2014

Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as the Ancaster Avalanche defeated the Welland Jr. Canadians in a shootout 3-2 (2-0 SO).

The two teams needed five turns to complete the shootout. Ancaster also got a shootout goal from Michael Pollice.

The Avalanche came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. Ancaster trailed 2-0 after a goal by Welland's Kris Melna at 1:13 in the second period. The Avalanche knotted things up at 2-2 on a goal by Pollice at 18:13 in the third period.
