Waterloo falls to Kitchener in overtime, 2-1 (OT)

The Kitchener Dutchmen's Jeremy Kuehn scored 2:15 into overtime to beat the Waterloo Siskins, 2-1 (OT).

Kitchener was sparked by Kuehn, who registered one goal.

The Dutchmen's offense operated below their season average. Kitchener averages 4.2 goals per game.

Kitchener also got a goal from Connor Cole as well. In addition, Kitchener received assists from Adam Kawalec, who had two and Harrison Domagala and Keegan Calder, who each chipped in one.

Waterloo excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. The Siskins could not produce up to their normal offensive output. Waterloo puts an average of 4.1 pucks into the net per game.

The Siskins were led by Evan Kearns, who scored the team's only goal. Kearns scored on the power play 19:46 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Waterloo. Waterloo had taken the advantage when the Dutchmen's Domagala got sent off for high sticking. Christian Mroczkowski assisted on the tally.

Jackson McIntosh recorded 23 saves for Kitchener. The Dutchmen incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Evgeny Kiselev rejected 25 shots on goal for the Siskins. Waterloo incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
