In a game where neither team could get a cushion, the London Nationals escaped with a 6-4 victory over the St. Marys Lincolns. No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Scott Goodman at 12:37 of the second period. Goodman had two goals and one assist to lead London. The Nationals pulled out the victory even though they were hit with 21 penalty minutes. London outdid its season average for goals scored. The Nationals average 3.2 goals per game. London additionally got points from Justin Murray, who also had one goal and one assist, Kyle L Robinson, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, and Austin Kemp, who also finished with one goal and three assists to lead the team in points. London also got a goal from Andrew Kim as well. In addition, London received assists from Derek Di Iorio, Anthony Kotsovos, Tanner Lafrance, and Drew Worrad, who each chipped in one. St. Marys' penalty box was a popular destination as the team totaled 11 minors and one major for 37 minutes in penalty time. The Lincolns surpassed its season average of 19.0 penalty minutes per game. St. Marys surpassed its usual scoring output this season. This season, the Lincolns average 1.7 goal per contest. St. Marys was led by Rai Di Loreto, who registered one goal and one assist. Di Loreto scored 10:45 into the third period to make the score 5-4 London. Nathan Smith picked up the assist. Others who scored for St. Marys included Garrett James, Jake Alkins, and Sean O`Brien, who scored one goal each. More assists for St. Marys came via Ocean Check, Jake McColl, and Matt McGall, who contributed one each. London's starting goalie, Justin Tugwell, made 17 saves and finished with the win before he was taken out in favor of Logan Ferrington, who stopped five shots. The Nationals registered three goals on nine power play opportunities. Team's Kotsovos and Worrad were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game. Andrew Masters rejected 24 shots on goal for the Lincolns. St. Marys registered one goal on six power play opportunities. For the Lincolns, McGall and Jordan Winter were ejected from the contest.
