The Strathroy Rockets' Stuart King scored 3:24 into overtime to beat the Lambton Shores Predators, 7-6 (OT). King had two goals and one assist to lead Strathroy. King scored the first of his two goals at 12:21 into the third period to make the score 6-5 Strathroy. Lucas Latina picked up the assist. King's next tally made the score 7-6 Strathroy with 16:36 left in overtime. Kurtis Sander assisted on the tally. The Rockets' penalty kill excelled, as Strathroy gave up one goal despite allowing eight power plays. The Rockets forced Predators' goalies to work between the pipes, finishing with 53 shots and forcing 46 saves. Anthony Hurtubise made 12 stops and Andrew Harriman-Duke made 34.
