Primeau's big game bests Lambton Shores in 7-3 LaSalle winVollmer Recreation Complex Wed, Oct 22, 2014 Story by Narrative Science.
The LaSalle Vipers' Brett Primeau had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 7-3 win over the Lambton Shores Predators. Primeau found the back of the net 16:37 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Lambton Shores and again while on the power play 12:26 into the second to make the score 5-2 LaSalle.LaSalle pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 24 penalty minutes. Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 18:49 into the second period. Four fighting penalties were dished out along with two game misconducts. The Vipers forced Lambton Shores' goaltenders to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, launching 35 shots and forcing 28 saves. Anthony Hurtubise made 28 stops and Andrew Harriman-Duke made zero. LaSalle surpassed its usual scoring output this season. This season, the Vipers average 4.3 goals per contest. LaSalle additionally got points from Liam McDougall, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Korey Morgan, who also had one goal and two assists, Daniel Beaudoin, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Manny Silverio, who also racked up two goals and one assist.
