Bo Bessette stood on his head and made 26 saves to lead the Chatham Maroons to a 2-1 victory over the London Nationals.

Chatham was sparked by Alexander Morgan, who grabbed one goal. Morgan scored 18:20 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Chatham. Brennan Feasey provided the assist.

The Maroons excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances.

Chatham also got a goal from Brayden Hopkins as well. More assists for Chatham came via Jared Dennis, Michael Verboom, and Steven Beenackers, who each chipped in one.

London stifled Chatham's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

The Nationals were led by Kyle L Robinson, who scored the team's only goal. Robinson scored 9:43 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Tanner Lafrance picked up the assist.

The Maroons incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. London's Justin Tugwell stopped 26 shots out of the 28 that he faced. The Nationals incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
