Sarnia made the score 3-0 on a goal by Cody Trowell at 19:34 in the second period, and London got as close as 3-2 when Austin Kemp scored 17:38 into the third period.

The Legionnaires were sparked by Cameron Clarke, who registered one goal. Clarke scored on the power play 15:42 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Sarnia. Sarnia had taken the advantage when the Nationals' Kyle L Robinson got sent off for inciting an opponent. Riley Roberts picked up the assist.
