The Lambton Shores Predators failed to take advantage of their power play opportunities and the Strathroy Rockets shook off a number of penalties to win, 5-2. Strathroy stifled Lambton Shores' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Rockets' offense rang up 42 shots on the Predators' net. Lambton Shores kept Strathroy's goalie busy throughout the game, and Mat Ouellet made 36 saves on 38 shots. The Predators' power play unit failed to produce, and was held to zero goals on nine chances. Lambton Shores was led by Zack Lewis, who had one goal. Lewis scored 4:30 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Strathroy. Austin Fetterly assisted on the tally. Drew Marlatt also scored for Lambton Shores. Other players who recorded assists for Lambton Shores were Calvin Hughson and Ty Jackson, who contributed one each. The Rockets incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors.
