The LaSalle Vipers were firing on all cylinders against the London Nationals, and when the final buzzer sounded Vipers emerged with a 7-4 win. LaSalle got the win behind a great game by Manny Silverio, who had one goal and three assists. Silverio scored 17:52 into the third period to make the score 7-4 LaSalle. Nathan Savage provided the assist. London's power play was ineffective against the Vipers' penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded. LaSalle kept the Nationals' goalie busy throughout the game, and Justin Tugwell made 27 saves on 34 shots. The Vipers bested their season scoring average.
