Shona Green netted a hat trick to lead Melbourne Ice over Sydney Sirens, 4-2.

Green notched her first tally 2:02 into the first period. He then added goals at 9:19 into the second and at 7:43 into the third.

Melbourne Ice stifled Sydney Sirens' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Melbourne Ice's offense was clicking better than usual and put 39 shots on goal during the game, better than the 3.6 shots per game it averages.

Melbourne Ice also got a goal from Alivia Del Basso as well. Other players who recorded assists for Melbourne Ice were Nicole Tritter, who had two, Christine Bestland, who had three, and Lucy Parrington and Rylie Padjen, who each chipped in one.
