A goal by Alivia Del Basso put Melbourne Ice up 2-0 in the third period, but Adelaide Adrenaline pulled to within one on Tess Reynolds's tally 4:54 into the third period. Melbourne Ice was led by goalie Michelle Coonan, who finished with 27 saves while allowing one goal. The solid play of Coonan will be reflected in her goals against average, which pre-game was 2.63.
