Butte Cobras had a five-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 7-1 win over Seattle Totems. Seattle Totems was stymied by Butte Cobras' netminder Tage Rustgi, who stopped 27 shots during the victory. Rustgi certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 4.85 entering the contest. Other players who recorded assists for Seattle Totems were Alex Svoboda and Erik Danna, who contributed one each. Butte Cobras ended with 11 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major. Seattle Totems totaled 11 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major and went 0-for-3 on the power play.
