Colorado Eagles downs Salt Lake City Moose, 5-2

Levi Weber finished with two points to lead Colorado Eagles to a 5-2 victory over Salt Lake City Moose.

Colorado Eagles put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Salt Lake City Moose to score on any of its three power plays.

Colorado Eagles additionally got points from Riley Roberts, who also registered one goal and one assist, Scott Smoot, who also tallied one goal and one assist, and Tyler Weber, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Jackson Wallis also scored for Colorado Eagles. More assists for Colorado Eagles came via Tanner Ulland, who had two and Johnanthan Docherty, Ty Hubbard, MacGregor Haddon, and Nick Davidson, who contributed one each.

Penalties took their toll on Salt Lake City Moose, as its penalty kill unit let in two power play goals.

Salt Lake City Moose was helped by Erik Ahlen, who had one goal. Ahlen scored 8:04 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Salt Lake City Moose. Brett Howard assisted on the tally. Salt Lake City Moose also got a goal from Brett Myer as well. In addition, Salt Lake City Moose received assists from Patrick OBryan, Ross Gann, and Dan Veselovsky, who each chipped in one.

Quinn Wold recorded 28 saves for Colorado Eagles. Colorado Eagles incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Brad Robertson made 17 saves for Salt Lake City Moose on 22 shots. Salt Lake City Moose ended with 25 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major.
