Colorado RoughRiders rides Opperman to victory over Colorado Eagles, 2-1

Colorado RoughRiders relied on the sparkling performance of Ashton Opperman in net to grab a 2-1 win against Colorado Eagles.

Colorado RoughRiders was led by Greg Dyba, who racked up one goal. Dyba scored 14:32 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Colorado RoughRiders. Andrew Groustra picked up the assist.

Colorado RoughRiders' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Colorado Eagles power plays. Colorado RoughRiders kept Colorado Eagles' goalie busy throughout the game, and Quinn Wold made 36 saves on 38 shots.

Casey Riccatone also scored for Colorado RoughRiders. In addition, Colorado RoughRiders received assists from Gian Cervo and Charles Joly, who contributed one each.

Colorado Eagles was held below its usual level of production. Colorado Eagles puts an average of 4.3 pucks into the net per game. Colorado RoughRiders was unable to stop Colorado Eagles from sending pucks towards the net, and Colorado Eagles eventually piled up 40 shots on goal.

Colorado Eagles was led by Cade Warner, who scored the team's only goal. Warner scored 7:14 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Tanner Ulland provided the assist.
