A goal by Zach Balodis put Wichita Jr. Thunder up 4-1 in the third period, but Tulsa Jr. Oilers pulled to within one on Sam Mancini's tally 18:05 into the third period.

Wichita Jr. Thunder got the win behind a great game by Peter Cicmanec, who had one goal and two assists.
