Oklahoma City Blazers outlasts Tulsa Jr. Oilers, 8-6

Oklahoma City Blazers gutted out a close 8-6 win against Tulsa Jr. Oilers.

Oklahoma City Blazers gained the winning advantage on a goal by Dominik Vlk 18:18 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer.

Oklahoma City Blazers got the win on the strength of a great game by Vlk, who had two goals and one assist. Vlk scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 15:10 into the second period to make the score 4-3 Oklahoma City Blazers. Oklahoma City Blazers had gained a power play chance when Ivan Bukshevannyy was whistled for elbowing. Matthew Audette provided the assist.
