Tulsa Jr. Oilers falls apart in second, loses to Oklahoma City Blazers, 7-0

Tulsa Jr. Oilers allowed Oklahoma City Blazers to net three goals during the second period and fell, 7-0.

Oklahoma City Blazers was paced by Petr Kobes, who racked up one goal and one assist. Kobes scored 15:34 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Oklahoma City Blazers. Dominik Vlk provided the assist.

Oklahoma City Blazers forced Tulsa Jr. Oilers' goalies to work all game long, totaling 60 shots and forcing 53 saves. Tyler Jansen made 17 stops and Colter Pritchard made 36. Oklahoma City Blazers put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Tulsa Jr. Oilers to score on any of its five power plays. Oklahoma City Blazers could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 24 minutes in penalties during the game. Oklahoma City Blazers got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.
