Rachel Hysong had one goal and two assists to lead the Michigan University of Wolverines to a 6-2 victory over the Davenport University Panthers.

Hysong got on the board by slotting home a goal 5:35 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Michigan University of. Jennifer Cusmano provided the assist. Hysong dished an assist on Karoline Inman's goal that made the score 3-0 Michigan University of at 7:17 into the second period. He added another helper on Jenna Trubiano's goal that made the score 4-0 Michigan University of at 11:02 into the second period.

Michigan University of's penalty kill excelled, as the Wolverines gave up one goal despite allowing nine power plays.
