The Davenport University Panthers had a six-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 10-0 win over the Wisconsin University of Badgers.

Darian Adams had two goals and one assist to lead Davenport University. Adams scored the first of his two goals at 4:34 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Davenport University. Chantal Caraher provided the assist. Adams' next tally made the score 5-0 Davenport University with 2:28 left in the second period. Caraher picked up the assist.

The Panthers put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Wisconsin University of to score on any of its three power plays. Davenport University forced the Badgers goalie Nali Mullan to work between the pipes, taking 53 shots. The Panthers' goal total was higher than their season average. This season, Davenport University averages 3.7 goals per contest.

Davenport University also got points from Megan Martin, who also registered two goals and two assists, Catie OConnor, who also finished with one goal and two assists, and Caraher, who also had two goals and three assists to lead the team in points. Lexie Boydston also scored for Davenport University. In addition, Davenport University received assists from Caitlin Dunne, who had two and Patsy Howe, Tara Boliard, and Courtney Curlee, who each chipped in one.

Wisconsin University of managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Badgers ended up below its season average of 4.0 penalty minutes per game. Wisconsin University of did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting 13 shots on net to force 13 saves.

Caitlin Nosanov made 13 saves for the Panthers on 13 shots. Davenport University incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Mullan rejected 43 shots on goal for the Badgers.
