Huge game by Lorraine boosts Idaho Junior Steelheads over Seattle Totems, 8-2

Idaho Junior Steelheads had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to an 8-2 win over Seattle Totems.

Elliot Lorraine was all over the ice for Idaho Junior Steelheads, as he tallied two goals and two assists in the win. Lorraine scored the first of his two goals at 13:35 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Idaho Junior Steelheads. Macky Power provided the assist. Lorraine's next tally made the score 8-2 Idaho Junior Steelheads with 33 seconds left in the third period. Power picked up the assist.

Seattle Totems was unable to stop Idaho Junior Steelheads from sending pucks towards the net, and Idaho Junior Steelheads eventually piled up 65 shots on goal.

Idaho Junior Steelheads additionally got points from Power, who also racked up two goals and three assists to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Idaho Junior Steelheads included Kyle Smith, who had two and Jack York and Ryan Cutter, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Idaho Junior Steelheads were Gunnar Merrick, who had two, Kyle TenEyck, who had three, and James Bohan, Nikita Zgirskis, Hunter Lester, and Dimitris Jones, who contributed one each.

Seattle Totems was led by Vendis Lukas, who had one goal and one assist. Lukas scored 18:09 into the second period to make the score 5-2 Idaho Junior Steelheads. August Cnattingius assisted on the tally. Seattle Totems also got a goal from Erik Danna as well. In addition, Seattle Totems received assists from Nathan Carter and Marek Nemec, who each chipped in one.

Tyler Hough recorded 18 saves for Idaho Junior Steelheads. Idaho Junior Steelheads incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Anton Vigre made 57 saves for Seattle Totems on 65 shots. Seattle Totems incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
