The Casper Coyotes Coyote survived a determined comeback attempt by Colorado RoughRiders on the way to a 3-2 win. Casper Coyotes made the score 3-1 on a goal by Erik Stenbacka at 16:36 in the third period, and Colorado RoughRiders got as close as 3-2 when Thayne Trumbull scored 19:12 into the third period. Stenbacka was all over the ice for the Coyote, as he registered two goals in the win. Casper Coyotes' offense rang up 31 shots on Colorado RoughRiders' net. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals. Casper Coyotes also got a goal from Tim Odermatt as well.
