Missoula Maulers rides Parker to victory over Whitefish Wolverines, 6-1

A stellar performance between the pipes by Noah Parker helped Missoula Maulers defeat Whitefish Wolverines, 6-1.

Missoula Maulers was paced by Edward Pollon, who registered one goal. Pollon scored 17:43 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Missoula Maulers. Alex Shalamov picked up the assist.

Missoula Maulers forced Whitefish Wolverines goalie Joakim Hidestrand to work between the pipes, taking 35 shots.

Missoula Maulers also got points from Dominic Rinaldi, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Shalamov, who also had one goal and one assist, and Damon Hanson, who also racked up two goals and one assist to lead the team in points. Tanner Todd also scored for Missoula Maulers. Other players who recorded assists for Missoula Maulers were Sawyer Jacobson and Austin Azzinnaro, who contributed one each and Chris Laporte, Joey Porco, and Tyler Lodin, who each chipped in two.

Whitefish Wolverines kept Missoula Maulers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Parker made 39 saves on 40 shots.

Whitefish Wolverines was led by Bryan Polmear, who scored the team's only goal. Polmear scored 1:30 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Whitefish Wolverines. Aleksei Garin assisted on the tally.

Missoula Maulers was hit with 10 minutes in penalty time with two majors. Joakim Hidestrand made 29 saves for Whitefish Wolverines on 35 shots. Whitefish Wolverines totaled 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors and two majors and had no power play opportunities.
