Huge game by Kranabetter boosts Valencia Flyers over San Diego, 7-3

Valencia Flyers' Jakob Kranabetter had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing three assists in his team's 7-3 win over San Diego.

Kranabetter scored 10:43 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Valencia Flyers. Nicholas Wilton assisted on the tally. Kranabetter dished an assist on Dawson Keay's goal that made the score 3-0 Valencia Flyers at 18:52 into the first period. He then added assists on Wilton's goal at 1:04 into the second and on Wil Barnett's goal at 15:53 into the third.

Valencia Flyers forced San Diego's goalies to work in net, totaling 40 shots and forcing 33 saves. Brody Cavataio made 20 stops and Jokaim Jutras made 13. Valencia Flyers' goal total was higher than its season average. Valencia Flyers has scored at the pace of 4.5 goals per game during the current campaign.

Valencia Flyers also got points from Ray Wilson, who also grabbed two goals and two assists, Wilton, who also had one goal and two assists, and Barnett, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Luc Whyte also scored for Valencia Flyers. In addition, Valencia Flyers received assists from Eddie Cordero, who had two and Blake Aguilar, Jared Waldman, Bas Assaf, and Evan Johnson, who each chipped in one.

San Diego was led by Artemiy Yaroslavskiy, who registered one goal. Yaroslavskiy scored 14:49 into the third period to make the score 5-3 Valencia Flyers. Ustin Molochkov picked up the assist. Others who scored for San Diego included Felix Morin and Alec Barre, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for San Diego were Joel Gellvear, Cameron Todd, and Kacey Walker, who contributed one each.

Valencia Flyers' Silvan Delb stopped 26 shots out of the 29 that he faced. Valencia Flyers totaled 25 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 1-for-4 on the power play. For Valencia Flyers, Wilton was ejected from the game. San Diego incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
