Southern Oregon Spartans and Seattle Totems were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Southern Oregon Spartans made the most of its opportunities and won, 4-2. No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Doug Gutierrez at 18:36 of the second period. Southern Oregon Spartans pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 16 penalty minutes. Southern Oregon Spartans was sparked by Anton Ivehed, who registered one goal. Ivehed scored on the power play 19:59 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Southern Oregon Spartans. Southern Oregon Spartans earned a power play opportunity when Sonny Grewal was put in the box for unsportsmanlike conduct. Billy Saxton assisted on the tally. Southern Oregon Spartans forced Seattle Totems goalie Angus Campbell to work between the pipes, taking 52 shots. More assists for Seattle Totems came via Braden Stratton and Chayse Franklin, who contributed one each. Tyler Van Vliet made 25 saves for Southern Oregon Spartans on 27 shots. Southern Oregon Spartans registered two goals on four power play opportunities. Campbell rejected 48 shots on goal for Seattle Totems. Seattle Totems incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
