Salt Lake City Moose pulls away in second, rolls over Colorado RoughRiders, 8-1

Salt Lake City Moose used a five-goal second period to put away Colorado RoughRiders, 8-1.

Erik Ahlen was all over the ice for Salt Lake City Moose, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Ahlen scored 1:53 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Salt Lake City Moose. Brett Myer assisted on the tally.

Salt Lake City Moose put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Colorado RoughRiders to score on any of its three power plays. Salt Lake City Moose found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. This season, Salt Lake City Moose averages 4.3 goals per contest.
