Salt Lake City Moose boosted by Robertson's play in net, beats Ogden Mustangs 4-1

Salt Lake City Moose relied on the sparkling performance of Brad Robertson in net to grab a 4-1 win against Ogden Mustangs.

Salt Lake City Moose was sparked by Zach Ahiers, who grabbed one goal. Ahiers scored 12:13 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Salt Lake City Moose. Joe Barnes assisted on the tally.

Salt Lake City Moose's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Ogden Mustangs power plays.

Others who scored for Salt Lake City Moose included Evan Carter, Cole Corson, and Jurijs Moiseicenko, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Salt Lake City Moose were Patrick OBryan, who had one and Dan Veselovsky and Jonathan Svensson, who contributed two each.

Ogden Mustangs could not produce up to its normal offensive output. Ogden Mustangs puts an average of 3.7 pucks into the net per game. Ogden Mustangs forced Salt Lake City Moose goalie Robertson to work between the pipes, taking 41 shots.

Ogden Mustangs was led by Ilya Bobko, who scored the team's only goal. Bobko scored 17:42 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Ogden Mustangs. Spencer Norcott provided the assist.

Brad Robertson made 40 saves for Salt Lake City Moose on 41 shots. Salt Lake City Moose incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Troy Turpin rejected 23 shots on goal for Ogden Mustangs. Ogden Mustangs incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
